Wintervale Day #1: February 5, 2012

Sunday, February 5 from 10 am – 2 pm (weather permitting)  – hit the trails before an evening of football!

Wintervale Days are free of charge and open to the public! Donations welcome!

PLAY: 3 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails * Free cross-country ski (classic and skate) demos from Skirack and Catamount Trail Association * Snow bike demos from Old Spokes Home * Kids’ relay race with RunVermont and Catamount Trail Association volunteers

EAT and DRINK: Local treats for purchase: Lake Champlain Chocolates hot chocolate * Local baked goods * and more!

LEARN:  Winter tree ID walk and wildlife tracking with Intervale Center Land Manager Rob Hunt * Make mulled cider and string dried apples with City Market/Onion River Co-op!

Wintervale Days are located in Burlington’s Intervale at 128 Intervale Road (former site of Intervale Compost and new home of Intervale Community Farm). Parking volunteers will direct you upon arrival.
