Cool down with fresh, local popsicles from Pop-cycle on Thursdays at the Intervale this summer, brought to you via the specially made “pop”-toting “cycle”.
The mission of Pop-cycle is to create enjoyable berry popsicles made from local products and sell them from bicycles in an effort to support the health of Burlington and its surrounding communities. This year Pop-cycle has partnered with the Winooski Underground Teen Center. The Teens are involved with every aspect of operation from harvesting berries to selling popsicles. We hope to bring the community together through a connection with local farmers, the use of alternative transportation, environmental education and the joy of healthy-local-delicious snacks.
All proceeds from Pop-cycle are donated to the Winooski Underground Teen Center and Local Motion.
